January 17, 2014 at 12:03 am #253276Wigster has been awful quiet for the last couple of days………………….. hmmmmmmmmmmmm
January 17, 2014 at 12:33 am #253277The second hand one is a go in Tamworth (hint maybe) being picked up this arvo. Tekniks Monday nav ride in two weeks for it :woohoo:
No one is guessing on the owner of the new one in the first post

January 17, 2014 at 1:43 am #253278I am guessing he wont be happy with the broken front left blinker
January 20, 2014 at 9:13 am #253293I confess the Tamworth bike is mine.
Flew out there on Friday and rode it back. Only done 6800k with quite a bit of bling on it.
I liked it straight away and was surprised how easily it cruised at 120. Very comfortable too (already has aftermarket bars and risers)
Dropped it off with Lefty on Sunday for TB to take to Nick at Teknik for the suspension work. New twin pipe from Jason at Barratt going on too. Happy days!
I just hope I don’t smash it up on the next nav ride. It looks brand new at the moment, not a scratch on it.
I have a feeling it won’t stay that way for long.
Even a silver tongued devil like myself is having trouble persuading the other half that I need two bikes, so the Tiger might have to go.

January 20, 2014 at 9:27 am #253394Thanks James.
I’ll tell you what it was hot out Tamworth way. I nearly died of thirst on the way home. In fact so close to death was I that I was only saved by rehydrating at several hostelries in Scone. I rehydrated so much I had to stay the night in one of them. It was awful I tell you…..

January 23, 2014 at 6:23 am #253401Well I called in at Teknik’s this arvo Wiggy and I am sure your bike is finished. I got them to roll the bars as well as discussed
The linkages were greased and the suspension done
Oh and your new exhaust OMG :woohoo:
Got some photos to post from the other night when I did the build on the new white bike from the start of this thread. For the record it isn’t my new bike
This thing is a full build Tenere and is the bomb
It got new heavy duty stainless spokes with excel premium rims and Teknik modified forks
A centre stand for those track side tyre changes etc
A water pump protector, brake pedal extension and a B & B Bash plate
Barrett twin system and Barrett racks. I modified the tail assembly as well and fitted a B & B top plate
A set of Pro Taper fat bars in the Pastrana FMX / ATV bend on top of a Scott Steering damper. Add Tapp Lite USB and Baryl charger out lets
A high smoked screen and bark busters
Set of SW MO-Tech crash bars
A head light protector and a Denali D2 (Dual Intensity) LED Lighting Kit (YES I KNOW THE BLINKER IS BROKEN I HAVENT BEEN TO PICK THE NEW LED ONES UP YET  )
Add a Yauguar rear shock absorber, a set of Pivot Pegz, a set of Dunlop 606 to cover the Ultra Heavy Duty tubes and it was complete
Finished, the owner will be one happy camper when he gets back from his trip and sees it in the flesh. Thanks as ALWAYS to Nick @ Tekniks. All parts for this build were sourced from Adventure Moto (all in stock actually when I went over there and went shopping)
Come to think of it, it is almost the same as mine
