had a guy come into shop yesterday after taking the F3 and F4 MV Agusta for a test ride and sitting for about 3 hours trying to make his mind up on which one to buy.
Come in today paid for the F3 800 , brand spanker took off from the shop and no s#it got no further than 50 meters gassed to hard went side ways highsided it and put it down the road . I felt sick in the stomach for the poor bugger

Obviously made the wrong choice? The F4 may have made it to 100m before low-siding instead.

That’s gotta be some kind of record, not the one you would want to set though.

what can you say , he wasnt hurt but he had a audience as well as a group of customers was admiring his new ride , i got him and the bike in the shop he was just shattered i dropped him off at home in the car and said ring us in the morning one side of the fairing is cracked
after it was all calmed down and he was making the call to the insurance company out the front we couldnt help ourselves having a bit of a laugh but your right he bought it and it wasnt one of our demos

It is wrong but hell yeah I would have laughed (and have done a few times at just that).

As for distance, I used to work near City Coast Yamaha in Wollongong and one new R1 did not get across the road before highsiding ………….. to much right wrist which we all say was to strong as this guy was right handed and a real Wayne Kerr type.. :)
