    3 days riding, starts and finishes in Jindabyne NSW.
    Two routes each day standard and special (you can change each night if you wish)
    250km fuel range required
    Pub, motel or camping offered each night its your ride, its your adventure ;)

    Details below

    THE DATE HAS CHANGED BUT THE RIDE MUST GO ON ;-)

    Ride ADV 3 DAY High Country NAV ride – 2014, 2nd, 3rd and 4th of May
    Cost is $65.00 per day per person. (That’s under $200.00 for three days of spectacular ADV riding at its best) This ride is a GPS Navigation ride and includes all tracks and routes loaded for each day. The ride is supported by sweeps and chase vehicles.

    Thursday night

    Please be at registration and map loading no later than 6pm in Jindabyne on Thursday May first at the Jindabyne Hotel, 21 McClure Circuit, Jindabyne NSW 2627 (02 6456 2203).

    Jindabyne Hotel has 15 family rooms, which accommodates up to 5 people $135 per night with breakfast. There are 20 Double rooms, which accommodate 3 people at $105 per night with breakfast. There is a fully licenced bar and bistro on premises.

    GPS loading will start at 5pm and riders briefing is planned for at 7.30pm. All riders are required to attend the rider briefing or you will not be able to start the ride. This is regardless of whether you are using your own GPS or riding with a mate and following his tyre tracks.

    For those that wish to camp or get a cabin try the Jindabyne Holiday Park on Kosciusko road, Jindabyne NSW 2627 (02 6171 3442). Camping on an unpowered site is $28 or for a powered site $38. The Holiday Park is only a 2min walk to the Jindabyne Hotel Motel where we will be doing the map loading and departure the following morning.

    Day 1 Friday

    7.30am leave, Jindabyne to Omeo. (Please do not depart before this time)

    There are two routes being a Standard and a Special. Details to be released after the prerun.

    Overnight at the Hill Top Hotel – 107 Day Avenue, Omeo VIC 3898 (Contact TAIT on 03 5159 1303) $40 per person that includes a continental breakfast or $50 per person and you will receive a hot cooked breakfast.

    There is a restaurant for all meals and off street security parking. They will organise a table in the dining area for GPS loading.

    If you wish to camp, camping is at Omeo Caravan Park. (www.omeocaravanpark.com.au)

    GPS loading will start at 5pm and riders briefing will be at the Hilltop Hotel at 6.30pm. All riders are required to attend the Riders Briefing.

    There are two service stations they are open 7.00am to 7.00pm daily. Please fuel up when you arrive or before departure on Saturday.

    Day 2 Saturday

    7.30am leave, Omeo to Ensay (Please do not depart before this time)

    There are two routes being a Standard and a Special. Details to be released after the prerun. The Special includes Blue Rag and both rides visit Victoria Falls, Mt Hotham, Treasures Huts, Dargo pub and lookouts.

    Overnight at Little River Inn (Contact Matt or Tracy on 03 5157 3311)

    $25 per person in bunk house or $45 for single room with own bathroom. $60 for double with on-suite which can sleep up to three (Cozy ;-)) and camping is only $ 7 per person. Dinner will be $20 per head for a smorgasbord and $15 for a hot breakfast (bargain).


    Day 3 (Sun)

    7.30am leave, Ensay to Jindabyne (Please do not depart before this time)

    There are two routes being a Standard and a Special with final details to be released after the prerun. Some awesome views and lookouts as we head up the Barry Way along the Snowy river.

    Finally an OBT ride less than 2 hrs from where I live. I’ll be there for sure, maybe with a couple of my old mates if there’s enough spaces for them.

    Hey TB, the high country one of my favourite places to ride!! Alas I have promised the wife a trip outback in the camper trailer at that time due to her holidays being set in stone.
    I will be thinking of you guys while you are riding in Gods own country! :(
