Do any of you guru’s have any advice for a steering damper for a KTM 690 Enduro r. I think I have narrowed the choices to the Ralle Moto set-up or a Scotts/BRP Rubber Mount Kit. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

    Cheers.

I had a Ralle Moto on my last 690 and it was a great bit of gear. I know Eags has one on his bike as well.

That is correct D Rally ;)
I have a Rallemoto but it is the old version. The newer “Titan” models are reportedly even better and much easier to tune to your riding style with more adjustment. I haven’t ridden a bike with th newer setup, but have seen quite a few guys running them on other bikes.

Found link to my fitup report here

Hey Murph, you missed a good local ride on Sunday mate. Get onboard next time if your in town, I can get Ash to give you an early heads up next time I plan a ride if you like :)

You know where I live, so welcome anytime to come over to check out the damper

    Cheers

Murph get one that fits a crf250x (2011) and when you find it does not fit – give it to me.

Thanks Eag’s & D Rally. Thought you had mentioned that you had one Eag’s. Seen one being fitted at KTM the other day and they looked the goods, The only hesitation I had, was that I had read on a couple of other forums, that some blokes had experienced the mounting bolts snapping.

thanks for the offer for a ride and would be happy if you got Ash to pass on the dates and times. I hope I can work it around work.

    Cheers.

I have a Scotts on mine. fitted from new so can’t comment on how the bike was without it.
No problems so far. Not rubber mounted ,at least I don’t think so .Works great in the sandy tracks & blasting up the freeway for work
