Well sitting here on the back verandah is a hell of a lot easier than riding creek tracks.
What a day. :woohoo:
After raining all night we woke to clear skies.
This was sort of a good thing but the rain had the rocks all lubed up 👿 :pinch:
All of the singles were in perfect shape. :woohoo:
After a little confusion with the pick up point for fatz121 (big thanks to the random dude who drove past me and returned to tell me that fatz121 was waiting further along at the bottom of the hill) we would of rode on without him if it wasn’t for “that dude”. Not sure but fatz might of appreciated that.
Did all of our singles out to Awaba and then accross to the quarry where there was a bit of carnage. Although I don’t think any handlebars touch the ground
Rode out to Thrillseekers creek tracks and had a ball. (Thrillseeker they are still in great shape)
These tracks were a good challenge after the rain. 👿
Slings came out and I think Tims bike was the only one that didn’t require hitching up.
The second section of creek gave us the most grief.
Thanks Thrillseeker. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
We then moved on to Tims new project.
THATS IT NEVER AGAIN, IN THE WET. :woohoo: 👿:laugh:
Man we had some struggles through that one. :silly:
I think the boys enjoyed it.
Poor fatz121’s Husky didn’t like it, that is a fact.
after struggling our way up the creek bed, over boulders, roots and more boulders, his 450 had had enough. Seemed like battery problems, so almost within vision of the end we swapped batteries with my 500. Note to self, never buy a bike without a kickstarter. :pinch:
The exit point is a little daunting to say the least and I have to admitt my handle bars hit the dirt.
We all exited with varying degrees of success. :silly: :woohoo:
I watched in awe of Tim hitting in one pure agressive, perfect assault. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Guess what it never happened as I wasn’t quick enough with the camera and much to Tims bad luck, his Go Pro was not switched on. :angry:Sorry son, but I thought it was awesome. :woohoo: One of the best moves I have seen. :woohoo: :woohoo:
A little more single saw us out on open stuff where we rode down to Paint Ball Petes and said our goodbyes to fatz121.
From there we rode home via some singles and the Power line tracks.
Thanks for everyone showing up.
Big thanks to fatz121 for staying very cool under a fair bit of pressure within Dandelion Creek. I would of probably been freaking if my bike wouldn’t start in such an extreme track/creek/slippery rocky place from hell.
Fatz came around not long after we got home and we swaped batteries back.
Cheers

I do owe thanks to fatz121’s bike, though.
For if it didn’t play up, I would of definately been shagged. :pinch:
At least it gave us a chance for a rest :silly:
All is good.
5 bikes started, 5 returned, be it through different pathes.
Cheers
