6am meetup from Brisbane for a 7am start in Beaudesert where we travel south to Lyons Road and across the border for a big adventure ride south through the New England National Park, surrounded by some fantastic state forests on the Great Dividing Range.
Day 1 (550k) – will be a mix of twisty sealed back roads linked by as many trails & single track as possible on the day as we head south.
Day 2 (350k) – Loop South adjacent to Oxley Wild Rivers National Park, along the way there’s ample opportunity to get out and explore this fantastic area.
Ellenborough Falls has picnic tables, BBQs, toilets and tourist information and a structure has been built over the edge to view the falls from above. The walk to the base of the falls is a little more challenging but worth it to experience the oasis at the bottom.
Day 3- (300k) Travel North East via Taylors Arm heading towards Dorrigo for a rest at the top before heading through Cascade National Park over to Nymboi–Binderay National Park.
Day 4 – (300k) Freestyle north to Brisbane….
