Two rides in a row now, Toe’s XR has left the bush in the back of a ute. Only dogs ride home in the back of a ute, no place for a pig.

We had a good roll up, with 9 riders keen for a bash around Bago. We also had a Gas Gas that was a DNS after it started dumping water out of the water pump seal. With me leading and Toes sweeping (for some of the way), we did a 95km loop up to Comboyne Rock and return. Some single trail, hill climbs and some more open stuff to mix it up a bit made for a fun ride, I am pretty sure the guys had a good day.

It was good to catch up with Cory and Bigger Al after so long and Furknurkle who took over sweep duties after we got Toes and his bike out of the bush, thanks to my Brother inlaw who dropped tools and did the rescue mission out to Comboyne Rock, which allowed us to continue the ride.

Just to keep the suspense, I will let Toes tell the story why his bike ended up in a ute…….again.

oh well a day in the docs/hospital.no fun those places.
only to have a pretty young (female)doctor tell me I will not
be attending our ride to camrons corner in2 weeks time.
apparently they can not give out pain killers to stupid people,
who want to try and ride a bike 3000klm with a collar bone broken in two places.

stupid tree branches across the tracks in the dust.

only took 2 years to organise, can always make plans for 2016.
    ride safe peoples

I didn’t get many photos from the day but I got this one.

It shows how hard core Toes is. A broken collar bone in two places and still managing to crack a smile, then go to work for a while the next morning.

I will add that it was a great crew to lead. You didn’t have to point to a corner, they were all experienced enough to know when it was their turn to be on the corner.

Did anyone else see some of the huge wheelies that Ando was pulling in the brand spanking WR450? That boy can ride.

That WR looked like he walked into his local dealer said he would take that one and rode it to the meet place. Then rode the shit out of it. Nice work Ando

Had a similar Hiccupp, in the Dunes around Stockton. Got a bit silly on the 525, and I found myself, having way too much speed at the top of a huge sand dune. :silly: 👿 :pinch:
    Yeh, you guessed it .
Broke my collar bone in two places
Its all good now though B)

Sorry for the late reply, Toes.
The docs didn’t plate it and just let it mend
I do have a large calcium build up around the break now and it sticks out a bit but I was far from being a model so it doesn’t worry me
I doub’t it will ever break in the exact same place again
Thinking back, work had me back after a couple of weeks, still in a sling and all I could do was bullshit paperwork. IT sucked
    Cheers
