    Wow, what a great ride.
Tim wasn’t up to leading after a big Anzac day drink but I made him. :S He soon livened up and left his old man for dead, thus I did the sweep duties most of the day B)
Started with 6, unfortunately maisey8 had to bail.
Great crew and I soon found out I was the slowest link.
(must ride sensibly, going on a 4 month holiday soon) stuck in my mind all day. ;)
Started on time and did 4 Brothers which had us all warmed up.
Next was Panadol (Killers), depending on who you ride with. B)
The hills in that section of singles never let you down, always challenging. 👿
Did most of the singles heading north and you could tell by the way no one stopped at Prick Hill that we were riding with good calibre riders :woohoo:
Managed to stay on the mesh at Mesh Hill unlike the last time. (No peanut gallery with camera’s, added to a lower stress level, I’d put it down to)
Plummit Hill was next on the agenda and I was pleased to get to the bottom with out dogging the bike down (well almost, I did dog it at the Wombat hole.  )
Great ride coming up and out the other side until we came accross a huge downed tree. :pinch:
But like I said we had a great crew and with help from everybody we managed to get all the bikes over. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Another bypass was fashioned up further where another couple of trees had fallen. ;)
Back to the main drag and then singles all the way back to Hitchy’s.
Down with no dramas and at the bottom MrSquiggle left us opting for the blacktop, due to cramps :(
Whitemans is always a good challenge and we were thankfull that the rocks were nice and dry. :woohoo:
Some more singles and down Zig Zag and around to Woose.
Three of the older gentlemen opted for the Woosey way, which is not so woosey anymore.
Tim had to prove that youth is still the winning property and yes he did get it on his third attempt. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Funky had a few attempts (much to his credit) and just couln’t find traction so he opted for the woose track and smashed it. :woohoo:
From there it was around Maculata and back to WF Rd
    Thanks all for coming along
Its always good to ride with good blokes
Found my legs cramping towards the end. :silly:
    Only 75kms but I was happy. :) B)
Couldn’t believe we were back at the cars around 1:30  Even though we had a couple of stops for a chat and a good one at lunch
    So thats all folks
No more riding down that way for me for a while  :(
Hopefully some pics to come later
    Cheers

End of Bee Camp, and we have ridden it ;) Well sort of, it’s more stand beside your bike and hold on and slide down the hill and hope you don’t slip over and end up under it

Definitely a one way track

    Adam.

Been trying to do a Murph ride for 12 months and finally got it done and what an awesome ride it was. Conditions were perfect and a great bunch of blokes all capable kept it flowing all day. Pristine rainforest, loamy tracks and some good challenges towards the end (even thou I eventually woosed out) made for a great day, thanks Murph. :)

Big thanks to Murph & Tim for putting on another good ride, a great bunch of guys kept everything flowing… Tim kept up a cracking pace on the singles which made for plenty of fun. Murph rode very sensibly considering the iminent big trip, I would have done the exactly the same…… any ride that you come back from in one piece is a good ride. …. Funky was robed on woz hill………I was up front when Mr Squiggle bailed, so didnt get a chance to say ” see yah and thanks for the ride”, thought you went well…. (maybe take more Magnesium ?)
Great pics as usual Murph….. I have a few which i will post before long as well.

Dr Nick by name and by nature ;) , I usually load up on magnesium during the week before a ride and it seems to do the trick, didnt this time and regretted it by the end of the ride, not very sore today so that was probably it …. again. Slow learner :( :(

Looking forward to the pics Dr Nick and thanks for a great ride. While Murphs away make sure to let me know when you guys are heading out to play since my usual tour guide will be away :(

I have been through that way many times and only ever made it up Woose twice from memory
It is a gnarly challenge and the water on the rocks would not of helped at all :pinch:
I just leave it to the youth nowdays ;)
    Cheers
