    G’Day Folks,

First post here, asking a question

I came here from a search of trails around Pt Plomer/Port Mac, part of that search was on ADVrider.com and the kind folk there, said try here!

So a few of us are heading to Plomer for a boys long weekend. Bikes/boards/beers (babe are at home!) this is on the 19/20/21/22 July. I’m putting the call out for any info on trails, tours or bike hire (one bike required)

The others will only want to do day trips, probably two of the four days, fire road and single track. nothing toooo snotty, well not without a b line around it. 400’s and 450’s, one learner, one gumboot (me) and two others that know what they’re doing (fukkas)

Any info would be great, cheers Rob

Hi Andy, yeah I fell on that site for rebuilding my old airhead (still going) As much I like the thought of long distance offroad touring, my two kidlets and minister of finance and domestic harmony limit that activity. So I guess I’m a bit limited too day trips.

I ride an old XR400 so the flame suit is well worn from that banter.

Keep your scotch, I’ll have a coopers pale though.

Flame suit because you ride an XR 400?

Not here! More like need a pair of waders……..

Be more leg humping than flaming from the guys that ride / rode em.

AlThough getting bit thin on the ground now, only due to ‘ updating’ to find they weren’t as quite as impressed as first thought from all the advertising hype.

Ya will need a thick skin though, the insults can fly at times, mostly in jest and even out ourselves at times too.

Here would be ok for noe I think, as it has an intro of you.

But ride info usually goes in the ride gathering section.

One thing though (maybe a Mod will clarify for me, used to be the go ) , I think the bull pit is the only place for uncensored language, and even then some are not that welcome.

Anyway, welcome to the mad house! :silly:

Welcome Curley, I am at Wauchope and ride the trails around here occasionally. Also ride an XR. As the time gets closer, I will be able to point you in the right direction for a ride. Bike hire may be a problem though, not sure if anyone has hire bikes available.

    Cheers

    Mick
