I recently got a new pipe guard for my GasGas 300 2T and found out the hard way about the dents grazes and bends i manage to pickup here and there. So i started researching a few different suppliers and came across a new Aussie mob called ProPower and decided to give what they claim to be a durable guard. I received it promptly with free postage and when opening the package found a shiny well built THICK guard. First view is it was a ripper product so onto installing it i went and the fit was a firm squeeze meaning no annoying vibration noises and a snug fit to stop too much rubbish getting underneath it.
I managed to get it out for a test on the weekend in our usual Rocky Rockhampton trails and was glad i got it on prior to this ride as i managed to hang the pipe up on a few locks and dropped it on a rocky ledge. When i got home i removed it as i have heard of other guard users saying they flex in dent your pipe and and pop out again giving the illusion of a straight tidy pipe and where it landed on both places were absolutely no signs of hits which was quite a relief. So thought id do up a bit of a product review to share with others looking for a well built Aussie product.

    Here is there site.

They are only new to business but they are Beta’s choice for pipe guards. If you would like to see if tgey make a particular thing email him and he will get back to you usually within a few hours. Tell him I sent you mate. Its the same bloke I got to get onto Lee to test a guatd on the 300 in grafton.

Red carbon Fibre looks a bit trick too hey ;)

I made a carbon bash plate when I had the KLX and it was as solid as a rock.
Dingo Hartley is using Carbon for the bash plates on his KTM 700RR kits too , so I reckon the carbon 2 smoker guards should be a good option.
They may end up looking like crap after a few solid bumps and once the clear coat gets scratched up, but that could be redone in time.

Better than repairing/ replacing a chamber though B)
