Sunday 17th august.
We will leave the normal meet up point in the concrete jungle at 630am (pm if you don’t know where) after the early school lesson is over we will head for the hills of gold to meet up with the werris creek riders waiting to take off from the starting line.
We will be doing 90km on this one with the mighty Sherco leading the tour. We will tour back river, bob cat, new stuff with old stuff, find a sandy hill where at the top will be smoko waiting for the rest stop. This is where I’ll need some numbers to let the cooks know how many PEANUT butter sandwiches to make :cheer:
From our break will be going into hanging rock for some new single and a bit of a challenge, that’s already boiled a Yamaha on
. Straps and chicken runs will be on offer, but won’t be needed as this ride is KTM friendly.Should be at a pub by 2:30 – 3:00pm sharing chips and gravy and drinking beer…..
Riders must be of the rego kind and hold a valid licence

Was a bit cold and goggles fogging up with water droplets for the first 30min after that I was crackin. I think we all binned it once or twice. The little hill that snowy has put in was great on the second run up :woohoo: That was the quickest Ive been up sand hill, last time 45min.

Hi Gents and Ktm riders,
the hot chick reading the weather on the telly reckons its gunna be wet this weekend.(hope she is wrong) :huh:
if so the ride will be off
as some of the trails have had a fair bit of work on em and we don’t need to stuff em up..There is the environmentalist coming out in me…Don’t worry ill finish off the night with a latte snowy. :laugh:after all the risk assessments are done I will let ya’s all know if we will be going or not on Saturday arvo. id hate to break some bikes before some other rides that are happening.
Now you’s will all have the opportunity to chase me through the scrub one day soon but it will be a cracker of a ride when it does happen….
