Sam and I arrived at Kevdog’s to see Rider33 and Kev gearing up with Polly soon to follow.
Overcast and a good temperature, things were looking good
We headed to the water tower to grab Fordy who was our lead for the morning
Straight into the dirt we headed with some twin track to warm up on :woohoo:
Then it was into Kiwarrak proper and our first single.
We rode some top tracks, rode some challenging hills, picked up a few bikes  crossed plenty of creeks, and rode some more.
Lunch at the lookout and then into Kev’s tracks. Some more tight stuff and some flowing tracks too.
A challenge hill that only Sam and Rider33 tried with Sam getting his new Sherco to the top, well we assume to the top as we couldn’t actually see him
A transfer of fuel to the two, two strokes and then the tracks back home.
125k’s and 7 hours. Some good stuff to be had in Kiwarrak SF with plenty more to explore.
Thanks Kev and Fordy for leading and sweeping and the other boys for a top ride.
Looking forward to the next one :woohoo:
Adam.
January 6, 2015 at 5:01 am #260815Rider33 put the call out for a ride up our way so wanting to show off our back yard it was arranged.
Adam Sam and Polly also wanted to tag along so all was welcome……………………………..
Nice overcast day for the ride and the dust was only on the open tracks…………………. :cheer:
Fordy lead us thru some open singles and tighter bush tracks and everyone was flowing well and the pace was good everyone except for the sweep I was struggling………………..
Had my first off on the first single track 5 minutes into the bush.I said my first off as I had 4 off in the day 2 as sweep and 2 as lead rider……………….. :pinch: (vid to follow)
Thanks to the boys for travelling up for the day and hope they enjoyed the ride……………………….. :woohoo:
Great ride and great company will have to do it again when it cools down.

FordyJanuary 6, 2015 at 9:40 am #260817After a stinking hot Sunday , I was tempted to woose out , however the beauro of met predicted that Monday would be much cooler, fortunately they were right and we experienced a pleasantish mild , humid day.
A big thanks to Kevdog & Fordy for showing us some of the secrets of the Kiwarrak Forest.
I really enjoyed the ride however my butt is telling me today –” You should stand up more lard ass”  :huh:Kev the vids were great with well placed comments 😆 😆 😆 , & thanks again for checking out my well-being on fenceline.
We travelled a tad over 125 kms for the day, saw a lot of different trails.
The forest looked like the watts of 30 years ago.Look forward to the next adventure in the Kiwarrak

My body is telling me 125ks is to much and it would like me to stay upright on the bike and stop laying down as often.

I turned up at keven’s, i got geared up and we where in for a great ride ,perfect conditions and a good bunch of guys, I only got back today and i ended up with 235km on the berg,126km from kevdog ride and i did two arvo rides with another local from failford, and i told him about the monster hill and that sam got up it wasn’t pretty but he made it up, i told him i made it up about 3/4 and wasn’t pretty either, he was kind of shocked that some one made it up,he said he rode with some guy how races junior enduro and he couldn’t make it up and i think he called it blackberry hill, I think I did about 60km each arvo in about 3 or 4 hours and thanks again keven and fordy for showing us around and I will have to come back again if you are going organise another ride and great vids.Te300 berg RID33R.
