Good ride
Some bits got the adrenalin pumped a little :woohoo: :woohoo:
It was good to see the ocean was cranky, at least 8′ maybe more 👿
Some pics to come
Down side of this ride was the Pub
Brought most people unstuck, but on saying that, the crew rode pretty damn good on the way home. 👿 👿

Feeling sorry that we didn’t change old mates puncture, Always carry enough to do that. Hope he made it home.
Thanks to everyone concerned
Lets do a little Wattagan run next time 👿 :pinch:
Cheers
MurphJuly 18, 2015 at 11:20 am #262341Who did you ride with up there Murph? Wasn’t the group of guys that meet at the Gwando roundabout?
July 18, 2015 at 11:22 am #262342July 18, 2015 at 11:23 am #262345Hey Damien
As a matter of fact
Yes we did start there.
The boys had a good ride sorted but it was just too social. :side:
Maybe too many stops and the Pub was just damn silly
But at least we were out on the bikes having fun :woohoo:

Cheers

MurphJuly 20, 2015 at 8:53 am #262348July 22, 2015 at 12:00 pm #262360many fond memories of those type of rides. I used to leave from Dudley, ride through the awabakal national park through a tiny sand ST and pop out at redhead bluff. Of course if there were any bird watchers through there you copped a right royal stink eye but usually it was just me plodding along.
If I had a group with me I’d take ém straight to redrock and punt our way on the now fernleigh down to blackies. Couldn’t avoid some time on the tar through to Caves Beach though.
Personally I think you really need to ride with caution in that area. There is a reasonable chance of encountering a bush walker or MTB’r. With the development at Murrays beach there seemed to be a few more people kicking around the bush in there.
The furthest south I went was to continue on over to Moonee..lifted our bikes over the gate then rode up the hill into Lake Munmorah NP and down to the Elizabeth Bay takeaway….was amazed to see it all boarded up a few years back.
Ah newy….so many options….Suggy, Awaba, Watties, Catho, Necknock, Cedar Creek and then Bula/Stroud not that far away
