Location – Frying Pan Creek camping ground, Chichester State Forest

Grade – 3 but if it is wet then 4, some hills can be 4 but have bypasses

    RTR 0830 both days.

    Saturday – 100km

    Sunday – 50-60km

I’m camping at Frying Pan Friday and Saturday nights.

Just be aware it can be very slippery, good tyres are recommended.

It was the driest I have ever seen, with only the clay track past Jerusalum Falls having any real skatey bits. It will be a bit different after last weekend. Hopefully not too many trees are down.

As it was so dry we did a bit more distance than originally planned approx. 190km over the two days.

There were a bunch of dicks with quads and MXers camping who proceeded to do wheelies and donuts through the campground and race up, down the main road and hold their MX bikes on the limiter 👿 . First time I’ve seen this sort of behavior in over 20 nights camping there.

I’m back up to speed with most of the tracks now and can put together some good loops of 80km plus combining hills and nice single.

There was only 2 of us so I didn’t stop for photos.

Nice one Craig, Dungog was once upon a time an every weekend occurrence for me. I helped cut in tracks build bridges struggle with Lantana  etc on many occassions. We used to camp at a mates property right on the Williams river. When my fitness levels get back up to speed I would lovebto go out with you for a weekends ride.
