Welcome aboard, we rode between Lithgow and Bathurst last weekend (had a ride weekend out there) Check the ride report its besides visting both Baturst and Lithgow hospitals was a great weekend (its in the ride reports / gatherings). Look forward to yout input and hearing about the Sherco as I put some thought into one of those a few years ago when fat head ( Battye’s )was flogging them.

Just finished reading the Capertee report. Broken bones, blood from boots and two hopitals in one weekend. Not sure i want to ride with you guys. I am good sweep though and generally miss the big crashes.
Anyone on here from the bathurst DSMRA? If not I’ll post a vid of one of our guys having a bad day..I sent him the link to it and he replied calling me a w@#ker, though I’m sure he seen the funny side of it. July 23, 2008 at 11:33 am #105763The Sherco is a great trail bike. It doesn’t have the great wads of power the KTMs or Bergs have just nice and smooth and there’s no carby to play with. 3600 Kms and going strong.
Here’s the vid of a mate having a bad day.
And here’s a pic of my roadie (but it’s not for sale) and can round up an R1 or R6 on a tight race track.http://www.livevideo.com/video/EDD87344BE8D4F47879304562A34AA31/trail-riding.aspx

This photo was taken just before we headed down to Wakefield about a month ago for a cuircut breakers ride day in the rain. A mate got high sided off his KTM and broke his ankle pretty badly. Me and the other guy are a bit like you blokes. Send them off to hospital in the wagon and stop in the pub on the way to visit. His wife wasn’t happy as it 5 years to the day that he broke the same leg on a ride with me coming home from Capertee Pub. It’s all good though we had a counter lunch and lots of beers today.
I dout I could clean up a 125 or a 250 on any track. But I can surprise some guys that are having a real dig in a corner when you come around the outside of them. Just plain good fun.
