Has anyone got a mate, or a 4w4 and a mate that would drive it or any ideas, this is the starting point for these two rides. As stated before fuel would be subsidised by those having their gear carried. Any help or ideas please type up. (speak)

I can get the filters and oil from my work and service it and give it a good going over before the trip if need be

What sort of gear and quantities are we talking about? Do you think a trailer would be required as well?

Trailer will be needed for both with carrying gear more on the 3 state ride than the high country, high country just to meet us for lunch and pick up broken people or bikes

Here are some pictures of the setup we built and used at cape york

The 4w4, swags under a small tarp on the top rack, the big ply wood box down the left side that you can see here had all the food, plates, knifes forks, spoons, crap every thing including cooking gear

The trailer we built before the trip I can try and find its where abouts, It was built to carry three bikes, had a table under the back, held all the spare tyres, wheels etc.

Couple more snaps of our setup when we went to Cape York, this is the sort of thing we would need to do the three state ride

Must be able to carry bikes if KTMs are along

We had two fridges this side and the toolbox across the back, couple of threads above you will see setup for other side, bags and crap went in between fridge and tuckerbox other side

I can use my dual cab ute, nothing as rough as tat where you’re going on the next trip! My trailer however won’t handle that type of thing on it’s current wheels, but I’m happy to put my hand up!

No nothing like that this trip, for the 4×4 it will be all dirt road work and back tracks. The trailer is being supplied by Mac.
