    Hey guys, yet another new member from Dirt Bike World here. I saw the link posted and came over to check the site out.

    I have an 08 KTM 450EXC-R and ride mainly in the Watagan’s. I see plenty of you get out there too, so I hope to join you guys for blast one day :-)

    I hope you don’t mind me positing a link to the DBW, another forum for you guys to browse and join in the banterB)

    I’d call that tit for tat.
    I will have to admit I had never heard of DBW untill this morning. I am either here or over at the dark side (Thumpertalk).
    Have joined DBW this morning so i will get no work done at all now.

    There a great group of guys, the few that I have met now. I’m riding in the Watagan’s with 13 others on Saturday, should be a good ride if the rain holds off!

    I know what you mean about not getting work done, I haven’t done much for months!

    Watagans this weekend?? Better look out for our boys,they’ll be there to.
    Rain makes mud and mud makes for a good ride in my opinion.

    Yeah I saw you boys had a ride on. Shame it’s on the same day otherwise I might have joined you. Some sections of the Wattie’s aren’t rideable after a good downpour :-( I had a hard enough time last weekend!

    I think your starting further North than we are, and an hour earlier…

    You live close to the Watagans? I grew up withing riding distance to the Watagans and know what you mean about wet weather.

    Keep an eye out for us and we will for you, I will look for your KTM but really they are like arsholes (everyone has one B)) I will be on an XR650 number 888, hope to see you and welcome champ

    I don’t think they apppeciated TB posting the OB link at DBW as it appears to have been MODERATED and the thread has been deleted, from what I can work out. Bugger….
    It was working well while it lasted.

    I thought about deleting the link to DBW considering they deleted our link but saw that as being petty, as we are supposed to be one big dirt bike community with the one common interest. Arent we???
    What do you reckon guys?? DBW need to have some cement I think.

    TB – I live at Blue Bay (The Entrance) and ride out to the Watagan’s most weekends because I haven’t got a trailer sorted yet. I’ve meet heaps of great blokes on the trails and had a blast.

    I’ll keep an eye out for the old chugger (:P )and make sure to say Hi if we cross path’s. If not we’ll have to get out for a ride some other timeB)

    I thought KTM’s were like pussies, all the boys want one:silly:

    Hmmm…didn’t realise that the link had gone and thread deleted. I guess they don’t like links to other webistes for obvious reasons, unfortunately, that means genuine helpful links get removed to too. Can’t have different rules for different people I guess. I agree it’s pretty crappy seeing as we’re all in it for the same thing.

    Delete the link I posted if you want, the only reason I posted it was to try and expand the community, not to make one site better than the other.

    I promise not be offended:P

    Guys they have a thread at DBW about Moderation in general bike related discussions I am asking the question there now, as we here are all for the sport we love and thumpertalk as never removed any web linking so I will ask why

    Ahhh well, shit happens. It wouldn’t have been anything personal against you, just that it’s a bigger site under scrutiny from the greenies for a few things and they have tightend up on the rules.

    So, how did you get into penny farthing racing? Do you have a link to the ’09’ models?

    How’d I get into penny farthing racing??
    I rode it for a job at Timbertown at Wauchope for 5 years and naturally got pretty good at it and they suggested I have a go at the Australian P.F championships in Tasmania. I saw it as a holiday and got bit of a shock they take it really seriously and there was guys from all over theworld there wanting to win!! So I kicked their arses and after the race sat down and had a beer and a smoke while they had their space food sticks and gatorade. Ha ha.

    Mate if the greenies want to have a go at anyone they should look at the 4×4 boys as they are stuffing the tracks up this way, oh yeah and the bloody horse riders, who’s horses shit grain seed everywhere in the bush.
