Sucks doesnt it im off to WA tomorrow for 3 weeks so spending the day with family…next weekend riding out in desert again on 2 smoker will be interesting

I have only ridden in sand once.That was on the Beach at Port Macquarie on a DR500 many moons ago,got the old girl up to 160kmh!!! The chain and sprockets were rooted afterwards.

We are riding some of the course the safari took in 07 i was living over there when they came through Port hedland ,we ride at a pretry good pace but those guys in the safari were holding it flat ,tried to get some shots of the boys as they came past but just got a blur then got covered in dust

WE did about 55km and yep it was great,our trails haven’t been ridden on for some time and had about an inch of leaf litter that made for great riding. Although Connor had an off coming down a hill at speed when his front wheel washed out in the leaves,man that kid can swear for a 11 year old!!I am glad his mother wasn’t there….LOL.
I might treat him to a new front tyre before this weekends MX meeting.
We cut a couple more trails in that will need some more work,but will be worth the effort as it is through some really dense rainforest,with a couple of tricky creeks to cross.

Those little off’s make him a better rider Least you got aout for a ride at weekend to calm the nerves a bit for the week ahead.
