Guru, Have the Insurance Companies been knocking on your “website door” yet?

You guessed it, Comprehensive Insurance is due this week. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I’m with insure my ride pay about $70.00 quarter, full comprehensive never hear from but never had to make a claim, they also do cover for gear etc.

    Also I’ve heard

    swann and QBE are good.

QBE seem to be the cheapest for Green slips as well. I was looking at buying a GSXR750 and NRMA wanted $1200+ to insure it for fire theft etc ,and QBE quoted $750.It certainly pays to shop around and not take the first quote.
Imagine what it costs for a 20 year old to insure one.

Crash I went from western QBE to insure my ride, I have since checked out ebike insurance which seems the goods and I plan on changing to them, check them out @ http://www.ebikeinsurance.com.au/
Remember of course that up where I am in gods country its cheaper than in the city slums like some as we dont have the crime and people like the ridge lol

What really put me off the GSXR, is the local copper said to me that they scrape up more GSXR riders, off the Oxley Highway than all the other bikes put together.

    #111772

Oh yes the Oxley Me and Ritchy are quiet partial to that road,
    we do a loop
Starting at the putty road up through Singleton thru too to Scone (on the piss) get up on to Tamworth then cut in to the 0xley passed your joint. Freeway for a bit (boring) then turn right down the buckets way (very dicey road) On the piss at Dungog (Banjos) then down the old pacific trying to avoid pushbikes, retired MX5 drivers on sunday drives and the local Flash cash boys Then home cant go wrong.

as for gsxr’s getting scraped up yes it didnt happen to us Touch wood:ohmy:

Ok TB you want him to ring up and ask for “Candy”
maybe a long weight as well?

    “Hello can I have candy?”
Sure little boy what does your Mum say?

BTW as someone mentioned ring around tell them you are ringing around but also be mindful that if you have to claim, who will be the better to deal with?

Good point Blueman, Cheap isn’t always the best. When it comes to claiming they may be cheap but they could also be nasty!

See TB I knew a “Candy” once in the Biblical sense of “knowing” someone:evil: , top sort easy going and eager as…….. well let’s just say that’s another story…last I saw of her was a spread in a major mens magazine several years later so when someone wants “Candy” it is what i immediately think of :).

I’m busy playing with insurance companies for work today and quality of insurer rates high with me.
