    Due to the popularity of Micks ‘what else do you do’ thread, a revolution is imminent

    The private msg section is running hot on the forming obt splinter groups. I think they have gained enough support and momentum to come above ground.

    We, the obt splinter groups, are going to split from obt, and form counter collectives.

    We will be focusing less on riding and discussing dirt bikes and more on other activities.

    So far the main focus of the first splinter group will be merry-go-rounds.

    We will be pooling our money to hire a different merry-go-round each month. Then discuss that ride and plan the next on the forum.

    Each year we will be going on an excursion to a different merry-go-round somewhere else in the state of nsw.

    If you are with us brothers, now is the time to make yourself known.

    Champo – I thought bikes and riding were the things that made life worth living. Now your talking about merry-go-rounds:blink: . I reckon there should be a government health warning put on 2 stroke TM’s. Obviously 2 stroke smoke is a health hazzard.

    Merry go rounds, AKA Carousells..originated in The days of Knights/Castles etc. The idea was stumbled upon by the English Knights watching the Moores training. Instead of pounding the bejeesus outa some poor test dummie with a lance, the Mores/arabs went about placing a ring on a tree to hit. When back in England, the Idea was eventually modified to the point of Stumps on a turntable with the ring, then Horses carved outa wood etc…..Gotta love War, the mother of all inventions. ( rave over…class can get back to work now)

    How the hell do you know this stuff Husky?? To me a merry go round is something you can stick your kids on to keep them quiet for a short period.

    Yeah, me too , until I read a book about that had this all explained in it. Now, a merry go round just never seems the same. So much for reading eh?
