I have introduced myself before but I stuffed up and added onto someone elses intro post.:blush:
So I will start again.
My name is Dan and I’m an alcoholic – shit wrong forum.
My name is Dan and I like riding and I am a forum slut. But since getting onto OBT (thanks Champo) I still like riding but I am now faithful to only one forum OBT.
I am like most people on OBT, I am over 30 and enjoy all aspects of riding.
I started riding at around 13 on an IT125 that cost me the grand sum of $75. The IT125 done the top end after to being flogged to death so a suitable DT175 was purchased and piston, head, barrel, carby, airbox and exhaust was transplanted onto the IT. After the D-IT12-75 was retired it was onto an IT250, then my first brand spanker a 93 DT200. I rode the DT200 for a while and then decided bikes had to make way for boats and fishing.
Fast forward 11 or so years and the bike bug bit again, a 99 DT230 was bought and the biking started again. After the DT230 came the TTR250 and now my second spankers bike the WR250R.
My wife KylieD also rides – you know her story from her intro post – no undie wearing dirt bike girly.
I like to ride the Wattagans and surrounding areas. I dont pretend to be an enduro hero or a boy racer. My pace is steady, but I enjoy a challenge.
