Nah seriously, once they start coming off they just keep coming from my experience, is it the fuel tank?

My guess is the prep. wasn’t done right, if this is a replacement set your talking about. Once you find a suitable glue, the plastics need proper cleaning, then washed down with a neutral detergent. dried, then glued then re-applied. Is time consuming to get it right. in my experience, one best left for spec.’s to do.

Hey Husky call the guys up and talk with them regarding the Husky, would recommend sending your plastics down and letting them fit them though some sort of black art that sticker fitting. Check them out in the links section or http://www.teencee.com.au/sites/

If they are just starting to peel I use a little dab of super glue under the loose bit. Loctite makes a good super glue, I have a little bottle I keep in my beer fridge and it is still good after 2 years.

Once they start to go there is no saving them. Peel the bastards off and spend your money on tires, brake pads etc that you need to keep your bike running. Bling sticker kits are for those that have to much money.

Yes you are right Fossil, although as I have said in the past you can sell a bike with a bling sticker kit and no engine.

It just erks me when i see people waste money on cosmetic crap when they would do better to keep their bike properly maintained or young fellas that fork out good coin for a bling looking bike that is really a peice of shit.If you have a well maintaned bike and can still afford a nice sticker kit that is well and good (beleive me i have bought a few, my CRF250X for finke was bling) it is just a matter of getting your priorties right.

Yeah I am hearing you, back years ago you would take guys out riding, bike falling apart just the basic stuff you know, remember once a guys bike wouldn’t run, when we worked out the air filter was blocked, blocked completely I asked when he had cleaned it, he said he cleaned and bike shined his bike after every ride and it looked great he said, but in the 14 months he had owned it he had never cleaned the air filter or changed the oil!!!!
Lucky it was an XR, good old 250

I’d buy a bike if it looked bling. Oh wait, I already did :p

I hear ya though Fossil. It’s stupid to buy stickers if other things on your bike need replacing. If your bike is well maintained then bling away I say!
