    I’ve broken the manual decompressor cable on the Vor. The outer sheath is okay, just the centre cable has snapped. (Engine will not turn over with the leccy leg without it).

    I haven’t tried yet but I suspect a new cable may be hard to come by from Vor ;) but a KTM unit may fit…

    Question is, does anyone know if one can obtain just the centre cable, cut it to size and somehow crimp on the end pieces? Like somewhere from a bicycle shop? Be a damn sight cheaper than finding a complete unit. Anyone???

    Shane, go to an MTB shop, some of the bigger ones will have the cables on reels and can cut to size. I used to get replacements for my bike all the time from Cycology on the Central Coast (Tuggerah) when I kept snapping gear cables :)
