    Just got a phone call from a very relieved TB,saying that the XR has just gotten a clean bill of health. Apparently after speaking with several experts in the field he has been told not to worry about the countershaft end float.All is good.
    I am sure he will elaborate more once he gets on line this arvo.

    He didn’t call me… he POSTED IT UP ON DBW!!

    Sorry folks, TB is leaving OBT, he’s had a better offer from Drew over at DBW! Apparently Drew offered him a free KTM and a T-shirt (Or was that a free KTM t-shirt?) and it was an offer too good to refuse!:P

    Maybe if we offer him two bob and a pickled egg he will come back… :laugh:

    Gotta love that pic of the 650 on DBW with the OBT guard stickers on it as bold as can be!!! Love it!!

    He is on DBW during the day out of boredom. His work have banned OBT so he can’t access it during the day. He’s still Old Bull through and through though as he’s making excuses to post pictures of his bikes with OBT plastered all over it ;)

    I cant access DBW from work as it has “Adult Content” which is way wrong… very few adults anywhere here or there LOL.

    I can’t access anything at home as telstra have yet to fix the severed cable in my street after 10 days, Nah no staff cutbacks there at all…..

    Ha ha I almost have the work thing beat so I will be back all the time, I have been on DBW only because you posted OUR ride there and am sharing with people how good it is here, check the picture I used to say my bike is ok

    I wont be back now for ages, (DBW that is) cheers for the thought ECKS, but I don’t like the way people talk to people there and some other issues, I know its only a few.

    Now the important news, the XR is alive and well, I used a dial indicator today to measure the end float and it had exactly 67 thou, which is a bit more than 1.5mm, so Champo was the closed he said around the 1mm mark, good job Champo, Man it looked so much more than that and I feel like a knuckle head but I had a great time Sunday in the ute and seeing the guys on the trails was great, I don’t ever get to see that sort of thing as I lead 99% of the rides I go on.

    TB Glad to hear the Big Red is all good again, does this mean you will be bringing the beast with you on your work trip to Brissy?
