as the name suggests add your 2 pennies worth to this heading

    When you ride a KTM…..
    Do you feel superior?
Do you always find yourself on the ground lying under the bike for no particular reason?
Do you get sick of trying to coordinate the colour scheme?
Do you feel like one of the “in” crowd
Do you honestly believe PDS works as well as linkage systems?

feel free to detract or defend

    lets do the numbers

When you ride a KTM,you are convinced it is a race bike.

When you ride a KTM,you will have the shits with MR Blue for starting this thread.

When you ride a KTM,you must have KTM stickers on your car.

Do you feel superior? No, I feel like a dirtbiker riding with other dirtbikers
Do you always find yourself on the ground lying under the bike for no particular reason? Yes, this does happen
Do you get sick of trying to coordinate the colour scheme? No, I purposely bought black and white so that I can change colour bikes and it won’t matter. Plus it makes me look like a strom trooper which is cooler than you can imagine
Do you feel like one of the “in” crowd It feels good having a bike and being part of the ‘community’
Do you honestly believe PDS works as well as linkage systems? No, I think that a likage system is a superior design, I also feel that to make the most out of it and for the PDS to be a significant hinderance you need to be a pretty good rider, better than most on the trails. Some people say PDS is shit because they don’t know their arse from their elbow and they hear every other colour rider saying it. People said 4 strokes were shit when everyone rode 2 smokers. Now how many people ride a 4 stroke?

    :)

    PDS

I had never heard of it.

PDS $80 to replace moving parts and 15min install time start to finish linkage hmmm $300+ 2hrs and a six pack later it still has movement because the bushes were a extra $130

When you ride a KTM,apparently it is an easy and cheap job to put the suspension back in.

Well, that is true, it is very easy. I would question how much of a bonus that is, I mean how often do you remove your shock for you to appreciate the hour saved in messing with a likage. The big bonus is that it doesn’t have the perishable parts that a linkage does :)

When you ride a KTM it pays to have Health insurance..for all those times you find yourself under said KTM.
When you ride a KTM, it pays to ensure those tubes hanging out the bottom of the bike are re run elsewhere, cause they’re a Biatch to start when they Slurp water up them

For those KTM riders here Peeved off with their PDS, have you looked into the little valve( to me looks like BIG carb screw) thingy that apparently makes it much better? Apparently it pays to have one in the system?( goes inside somepart of the shock absorber? sorry not tech wizz) The KTM riders I know ARE too superior to ride with me…As i cant keep up..but thats good, cause when they broke their legs..I didnt have to deal with it. :)

yes the collapsible needle affair, yes i had one of them which in effect made the bike slightly less prone to launching me over the bars on mid-sized sharp obstacles….slightly.

When you ride a KTM i know they are easy to sell.
When you ride a KTM “steering” is a term used loosely
When you ride a KTM you must maintain 100% concentration at all times
When you ride a KTM councils keep trying to hire you to do traffic control.

An “F” bush every 6 months makes up for the linkage bearing every few years for me,

but with a linkage you can also lower the bike with the exchange of one part for another Woohoo:cheer: .

When you ride a KTM you are usually over 35 yrs old
When you ride a ktm you aren’t realising your full riding experience.
When you ride a KTM you make some else richer.
When you ride a KTM you truly can boast you are on an expensive european machine.
When you ride a KTM chances are someelse is riding your missus.
