AS promised.
Gloucester to Wingham Via the Bucketts Way 52 km tar road, turn left into Gloucester road, 13km tar to Wingham . Get fuel at Wingham
Wingham to Elands and Ellenborough Falls Via Bobin 38km mainly gravel road. When leaving Ellenborough Falls, turn left and head back the way you came, once back into the township of Elands, turn left into Colling Road following the signs to Comboyne,
Elands to Comboyne, approx 26km Gravel road.
Just after you get back on the tar (3km),look for a left turn called Innes View rd, there is a sign directing you to Boorganna nature reserve at this intersection.
Continue along Innes View Rd for approx 6 km all the while looking for Toms Creek road turn. It will be on your right and meets Innes View road at 45 degrees on a sweeping left hander.( If you hit gravel road on Innes View you have missed the turn.)
Follow Toms Creek road to the Oxley Highway (approximately 26 km gravel). Turn right at the Oxley and continue into Long Flat for fuel and food. (about 10km).
Once you leave Long Flat head back the way you came for about 3km and take the first right hand turn off, to Kindee. 1 km down Kindee road you will cross the Kindee bridge. Another 3 km along Kindee road, Pipeclay road will be on your right, take this turn and follow the road to Beechwood. (about 30 km of gravel road).
From Beechwood it is 10km of tar to Wauchope.
A rough calculation of distance 170 km all up.March 17, 2009 at 8:27 pm #126140

That’s so totally awesome! It even shows the ‘L’ displayed in an Orange circle. I think the picture was taken on approach to ‘L’anding.
