Hello to all you fellow old bastards I think being 52 years of age I fit into this category. I have been only riding for just over 2 years and ride mainly in Kinglake, Broadford, Black Range, Bunyip and recently in Noojee because it is a bit black in a few of my normall riding locations. I am currently riding a Husaberg FE550E 2005 which is a fantastic bike and alot of fun to ride. I looking forward to having some fun on the forum.
thanks

AnonymousHey Bill, welcome to OBT. Nice to see another Victorian join up to the site. We have a couple down your way now. One is totally insane and I’m sure he’ll be along later (after work) to greet you himself.
It’s a bit quiet on here today so bear with us
March 18, 2009 at 1:40 am #126149Hi Moto thanks for the welcome.
March 18, 2009 at 1:48 am #126151G’day Bill, another Vicco eh? Ah well, can’t hold that against you I guess! Welcome to OBT mate!
Moto’s unusually quiet today, probably because neither TB or I have been stirring him up!
March 18, 2009 at 1:57 am #126153Thanks for the welcome. You need the quiet days every now an then.

I’ve been interviewing and am quite busy at the minute. TB can’t get online at work at present and Mick is on a management course (he’s learning how he should have manged people for the last 15 years
).
What do you ride Bill and where did you hear about us?
March 18, 2009 at 2:51 am #126154I currently ride a Husaberg FE550E and use to ride a Yamaha TTR600 & a Yamaha XT600, read about the forum in Trailbike Adventure Mag.

AnonymousSorry for the brainfart, I was reading 2 threads and a PM at the same time! You did say in your first post what you rode
Ahhh, so it was TBAM that got you onto us. The funny thing is that we now have had a few writeups in the magazines about the site, the funny bit though is the first 2 were printed without any of us knowing!
Somebody even joined up saying it was because they saw an aad and we were all confused!

menace
March 18, 2009 at 10:00 pm #126174Gooday Menace also thanks for the welcome. I reside in Lynbrook and work in Dandy South about 15 min drive from Seaford never riden around Glenmaaggie, what are the trails like in that next of the woods?
I ride a Berg FE550 but try hard to keep it upright don’t like getting injured I still have to turn up for work on Mondays. It’s all in how you twist the right hand…lol
As for the KTM 300 my mate I ride with has one it’s a great machine very lite and nimble.
When you are all fit and health we should catch up for a ride.
Bill.
March 19, 2009 at 6:12 am #126206lynbrook, i could throw a rock that far, but i wont.
i grew up in dandy/keysy mate.
glenmaggie is fully sick for ridin, great bush, big hills and best of all, no ruts:woohoo:
anywhere sounds sweet for a ride when my arse has healed.
probably after easter we will hook up, if i can manage not to mangle myself for that long:P
cheers mate

March 19, 2009 at 6:52 am #126144Hi Bill good to see another Mexican on the site. A bonus to being over 50 and still thumping it. I turned 51 today and am getting the bike ready for a weekend ride through the Ottways to celebrate. Maybe we’ll catch up somewhere around the tracks of Vic one day.
