    G’day guys and girls!

I mostly lurk around DBW and was told about this place and trailmates when I moved up here to east maitland and posted a thread to find someone to show me around.

I’m riding an ’07 250EXCF and mostly ride with a mate from sydney who rides a CRF450x

Looking forward to getting around the watties again on saturday and meeting some of the guys from here.

    Cheers,

    Trent

Welcome Austblue, I am sure if you ride in or around the Watos it wont be long before we see you somewhere, glad to see you stopped lurking and joined the mad house. Out of interest how did you find us?

I’m pretty sure someone from DBW linked me over here when I was looking for some riding buddies. Just had a quick search to see who it was but couldn’t find it :silly: It would’ve been there or trailmates I’d say.

Welcome to OBT Trent and congrats on getting your name down for Saturday should be a good ride :) What grade would you consider you can ride comfortably at? It’s no biggie just trying to plan things for Saturday :)

There will be plenty of rides in the Watties on here as I’m keen to ride any weekend I can and the Wattie’s is closest for me :)

As the others said Welcome to the mad house, you will have to endure the silliness from the Honda riders:blink: , but you get used to it, so hang in there:laugh:

Well your title says it all – More bloody Katos – The bloody (orange) bubonic plague, the plague come from Europe didn’t it?

Welcome to Old Bulls Austblue, glad to make your virtual acquaintance. See you Saturday for the Watties ride.

I’d like to say that I’m 3 but I haven’t been on many group rides so I’m not too sure to be honest. Same goes for my mate but we’re both young and silly enough to give it all a try. We rode the st across from the pines camping area the other week and had a couple of relaxing snoozes in the sand but nothing presented too much of an issue. Bike fitness needs some work though :)

edit: probably 3-4 going by this:

    3) Middle of the road – I’ve seen most of the types of obstacles riding has to offer and a good idea of how to handle them, the odd push and helping hand wouldn’t hurt. No crazy hills yet though!

    4) SEASONED RIDER – You’ve been around a while havent you!. Been on some group rides, happy to sweep, could get up the front. Even have a crack or two at those bigger hills. Can handle most things but not always flat out.

Wouldn’t call myself seasoned by any means but will have a crack at the bigger hills – you have to learn your capabilities somehow right? :woohoo:

Yeah i thought that’d be the case – I certainly didn’t want to talk up any expectations but didn’t want to scare you away from the good stuff either. Just make sure you don’t pick any hills too big for you to carry a 250 up hey 😆
