    Hi fellow riders,

Like Rogerdodger (hi Roger) I too am going on old Al’s Sugarloaf ride, and being a guest at this web site for a few weeks now I thought it best to join.

Born in Wauchope in 1960, schooled in Leeton, lived in Lithgow, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Valley. Still haven’t been able to get through the non-return valve at Branxton to return to Lake Macquarie.

Like other prudent riders, my weapon of choice is the DRZ400.

Having owned touring bikes for most of my riding years I have come to appreciate the joys that can be had by sensible trail riding, since 2002.

Looking forward to meeting like minded riders.

    Cheers,

    Paul.

ps Moto, I like your sign off. I always knew there were 111 days in a week ;)

    Hi Mick,

Thanks for the welcome. re Wauchope – all my old rellies have since passed away so I haven’t been there since the late 80’s.
How did I find you guys – ask old Al :)

Welcome to OBT Training wheels, nice to see another local Newy/Hunter rider in camp OBT :)

As mentioned before, I hope we can get out for a burn soon and sorry I can’ make the ride on the 16th.

PS – 111 days in the week, very good! 111001 days in a month too. Now that people are catching onto binary I’ll have to find a hexadecimal based phrase :P

ps I prefer Octal – you buy a dozen eggs and count them in octal and you have 14. Better value for your money!

    Hi Mr Blue,

Since we have virtually met, let’s dispense with the formalities – feel free to call me Training :)

I like your style;) Maybe I should start counting my money that way. I’d earn more than $40K a year that way

GEEK SPEAK, they’re probably fluent in Klingon too.

just using a different base to the numerary system in certain applications, sorta remember it from 5 unit maths at school.

For the record Mr Blue I can’t count in Klingon. I’ve missed the last couple of meetings – I’m still on their alphabet :)
