workhardened see it every so often, and on BMX bikes as well.
wouldn’t happen with steel bars, can’t ride it long enough cause of the vibes so they never break.

confusedMay 11, 2009 at 10:34 pm #133659Pro Taper isn’t your only option Aaron,I have the Renthal fat bars on the XR and am more than happy with them.So much so that I will be keeping them for my new bike.
I have thrown the pig down a ton of times and the bars have never looked like bending.May 12, 2009 at 1:35 am #133661As Mick said Renthal are the standard in fatbars, I had a nice set on the 300 in a high KTM bend with risers, but after careful study and deliberation of my style i decided that i like corners more than straights, so for the YZ I run low flat RM bend in a fatbar with no risers and suits me fine.
very very personal choice handlebars are, and don’t do the “shed test” try riding with different bends.

May 13, 2009 at 6:16 am #133918Chris, try rolling it back to zero and see if it feels better to ride. I had mine at +1 and rolled them back to 0 and it is a lot better on fast corners – a LOT better! Give it a go!
May 13, 2009 at 7:20 am #132909I have Thomaselli bars on the Husky….(it came that way)..Being rather tall I have them at + 1 also..The bars have handled some pretty decent drops to date, no evident damage i can see.
