As some of you may be aware I purchased a set of force radiator guards for the narny, I have to let you all know that you would have to be patting pelicans if your bike has radiators and you havent fitted some form of protection( no menace that doesnt mean wearing a condom), I took the DRZ on the reccy ride for the july nundle ride yesterday and quess what, I ran out of road and ended up in the scrub, on inspection of the bike I notice a branch the thickness of your thumb hand actually been broken when it hit the radiator guard, if I didnt have the guards in place (ride over) and bank account would get a caining.
The other new product that got a test run during the off track excursion was my brand new (first ride) knee guards, when i had the off my knee actually acted as a braking system against some branches and rocks,Hate to think how I`d be today if I didnt wear them.Zero injuries to me
Boony`s words of wisdom
It you have the safety gear wear it, if you dont then bleeding well get it.
My say for today
menace , bite me:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I actually ordered mine after seeing the picture of yours the other week, I had been “gunna get some” for ages. When I went to fit them I found that both my radiators were already twisted, I new I had bent the bottom shroud attachment point on both sides but I didn’t realise I had twisted the whole radiator. I know when I did the damage to both of them, one was when I stopped and went to put my foot down only to realise too late that there was a big hole there and the other was a slow speed front wheel wash out on soft terrain. They weren’t high speed or high impact incidences so it goes to show how weak they are and the value in fitting guards and braces, definately money well spent.
