    Today, I finally had the much awaited tennis match with a certain Englishman,,,,
    A fine afternoon of hitting (only managed to get in ONE set in the hour)
    It was very entertaining to see that he plays a bit like he rides the Kato “ALL OVER THE PLACE”:laugh:
    The game was followed by a quiet Ale in the club;) This could be a regular occurrence!

    Did,nt think he had the co-ordination to play tennis:laugh: he would have been much better at smashing a few beers than smashing the ball eh:P

    We only had one beer though, had to drive home straight after,,,,,,, Still good though

    Thanks for the game Eagle. It was the first time I’ve played tennis in a couple of years (even then I only played a handful of games). We got started with a quick warmup and it was immediately evident that I was rusty. Getting the ball in the court was a challenge :P

    I started to get it tiogether a bit and we started playing properly. Well I was anyway. Eagle was ‘humouring’ me with some generous calls and let me win a bit :blush:

    I did improve (mostly) through the match and at the end was hitting some alright shots. I get the impression that it was still easy for Eagle though. Due to dubious scoring we managed to get to 6 games a piece and we had to play a tie breaker. Eagle handed me my arse and we called it quits for the day and went into the clubhouse (my area of specialty) for a beer.

    Thanks again for the game Eagle, although I got whooped I really enjoyed it and am keen for next time :)

    I won’t go so easy on you then :laugh:

    So Eagle I take it you hit Motos’ balls all over the court?, and his service was less than impressive?:laugh:

    My service was less than impressive :laugh: :blush: I did catch him a couple of times with it though, I think he was surprised just how slow I can hit a ball over the net :laugh:

    Yes, It was a fun way to complete the working week,,,,
    A bit of a hit & then cool beer & a laugh;)

    We will be back there on a regular basis I reckon, As long as you are up to it My Pommy Pal???
