i did a bit more lovin to the 300 between drinks this weekend.

first i put some nice new renthal pillowtop grips on her. they are thicker than me:laugh: . id forgotten how messy grip glue is hey:laugh:
they are sposed to cut vibration down and have a bigger circumferance to help reduce fatigue and arm pump??? i hope so:) $29 off ebay! cheap!!!

    IMG_1439.jpg
i also squared up my barkys and cut down my levers. the clutch is sooo light that one finger will do the job, two if you have arm pump!! i only use two fingers max on the front stoppers, any more and i end up pashing the front guard..  … brembos rock!!:woohoo:

next i fitted a SR clutch slave guard and “racing” chain guide. it was $69 from ebay, the local ktm dealer wanted $133…WTF!!!

    IMG_1438.jpg

i also brought a new “wierd looking nut” and washer for the silencer….i left the old one somewhere in neerim last weekend:( ….another $22, i thought it would have cost more. locktited it in this time, and everything else i fitted for that matter!!!!

next i adapted some new rear indicators. i got them from the local car wreckers. they are off a 2002 “vauxhall” vectra, not a holden vectra, as that would be like fitting honda parts and that is TABOO:laugh:

i reckon they look “the pooh” as TB would say.  they seem to light up good from the rear and the side….i dunno what “mr plod” would think of them:dry: …but stuff him!!!
it should be pretty hard to rip them off crashing or melt them with my exhaust, fingers crossed!!:S

so as yous can see ive been busy drinking….and working:laugh:

not in good old vicco boony,

ive seen number plates mounted under guards!!

ive spoken to a copper and he reckons it safer, less chance of choppin your leg off in a prang. he told me to spruik that point if an ar$ehole policeman wanted to go me.
id go to court to argue that, and win i reckon.

its not like im gonna race past a speed camera in the bush….and after the first couple of roosts it will be covered in sh!t anyway…bugger ’em

….uncle fester, they were $14. too easy mate.

My Good intramanet matey Menace, the balls ends on your levers serve a purpose and one has a duty to inform you why…otherwise the bloody lever may go right through your hand smashing your third knuckle and rendering your third digit with limited ability, without feeling and completely numb for 23 years. So I would humbly suggest a new lever complete with ballend intact.

Otherwise you have a reasonably tidy looking unit there young man, and the pillowtops are great for helping with vibes, I’ve had them on my last 3 smokers and they are the goods.

Yeah Menace, Blues right, buy yourself some shorty levers mate, so much safer, keep those in your bum bag for emergencies or throwing down the hill at Boony when we are at the top of tom’s hill and he is stuck on the Banana
