Hi guys I need ya help. I need new front pads for the 450. The caliper on it is not OEM. It is a MIB brand. Does anyone know who manufactures them or imports them. My local bike shop said WTF is that so my confidence in them working it out went right down. Any help would be appreciated. MIB_1.jpg

Fez I tend to agree with the shop. I tried an internerd search for you but didnt come up with anything credible:dry:
all I can suggest is to remove your pads, they may have some markings on them,if not you may have to do some comparo’s from a web site etc,try ebay as some sellers actually post up Pics of the actual pads, hope this has helped, best of luck

That looks like a motard oversize caliper from an Italian company, I am almost certain, I will see what I can find for ya:)

Your right rat the 450 has all the motard gear eccept rims. The front disc is an oversize one. I don’t want to go backto OEM because I’m not a little boy anymore and it pulls me up great. Anything you can find out would be great. Cheers FEZ.

I have seen him do this before and it works, I was a little worried about the sticky tape and bluetak though, then he pointed out that they were brakes for a Kwaka so it made sense, seriously, I have seen his home modified pads before and they are fine.

Fez contact Fathead at Battyes on 02 95435133, tell him you are an Old Bull and he will help you no problem

Be careful of pads from E bay, I fitted a new set of rears before the caves to caves and ended up with both worn out and one losing its remaining pad from the backing plate

Spend the money and buy some decent pads, better then damaged disc’s, I was lucky as I heard it about 2kms from the end of day one and stopped using the back brake. I had packed a spare set of EBC that had done the four day when I raced it and 11 months trail riding

I agree with TB.Dont buy cheap pads from EBAY. all I said was compare the pads on Ebay as they usually have actual pictures of the pads, you can then cross reference them.and then get the decent ones
