Well I didnt ride but drove out and meet some of the happy crew today and it was worth the effort.
I saw some happy and very muddy punters, all seemed as though they had a good time
There are some stories and some great photos to be posted here so stay tuned
Couple of starters I heard
– Seems as though a ex enduro gun (that has enough trophies he says) had a retread that wasnt handling the conditions and started what was a 2 hr + tyre change and sobber I was told. As it was relayed to me, he removed the tyre and fitted the new retread only to pinch the tube  , the tube was removed and a patch readied to be applied, he was heard to tell people that the glue had to dry before the patch is applied (must knows his stuff  ) The glue dried and the patch was applied, tube fitted to the tyre, tyre to the rim and inflated only to go flat straight away. The tube was removed from the tyre and it was found that the patch had fallen of because the gun had forgotten to remove the plastic/foil backing on the patch
So the patch was correctly fitted (plastic backing removed   ) Tyre fitted and inflated, the wheel was fitted to the bike only to find that the chain would drive on the disc, yes he fitted they wheel the wrong way around / back to front   . As someone who shall remain nameless said ” its explains why the Collins Class Submarines are the way they are”The other story that needs to be told is about a certain KTM riders bike that would start, he snapped and threw his bike in a puddle and didnt go riding, and Puddles picked it up for him
Bull you and your wife have done a fanastic job and lifted the bar again, wish I could have ridden

And the thereI was thinking I am out on a quiet country road and some rally driver at full steam bears down on me:laugh:
Cheers for the directios, I was about to pull out my scribbled map but you pointed me the right way.
It was great to meet everyone today and I had a lot of fun on the ride. It flowed really well with no mechanicals and a pretty good pace, for me anyway:) I was a bit nervous heading out this morning as I have only had the bike since December after 20 years away from the sport but the ride was well led and well swept, the end I was at:laugh:
The terrain was awesome and Bull has an incredible spot and even with that much water the trails stood up to it well.
It was great to meet Bull, TB, Puddles and all the crew and a special mention to Mick from Micknmeld fame for introducing me to everyone and taking the time to show me around. You made me feel very welcome.
All in all it was a great day out on the bike and KTMBull, Bill and his family , deserves a massive pat on the back.
Thanks again
STM

Speaking of all the girls, thanks to Kez,Kell, Lessa and Cathy, For keeping us all fed. An extra big thanks to Bill and Kez’s daughter Ellen for , taking the girls horse riding, helping the girls with the catering and making those honey joys!!How good were they? You are a credit to your parents.I have just finished unpacking gear and washing bikes, I will sit back now, have a quiet beer and reflect on the great time we had this weekend. Can’t wait for the next one!!
