Guys! I’ve been a bit (ok a lot) crazy on ebay and buying off the internet in general this week and tonight I snapped up a pair of delta braking front sintered brake pads at the bargain price of $26 delivered!
The thing is I can’t find any information on them and have no idea what they’re worth or if they’re good! :blush: To be honest I was a bit surprised when I priced pads but on Ollie’s recommendation I bought a set of ‘braking’ rears for mine and my brother’s bike from ballards for $48 a set.
Anyway I’m interested to hear if anyone has used them or heard anything that’s worth passing on but if not I’ll revisit this when I fit them up and give them a run.
I’ll have my work cut out writing reviews actually, I can now review my new feeler guages, chain tool, KTM multi wrench, spark plug tool, Progressive dampening handlebar system (PDH$), Pivot pegz (sorry I didn’t join the GB I bought a 2nd hand set), braking rears and delta fronts! I’ve got my eye on a scott’s jacket too – bolton have them on spesh for $150!
BTW In case you guys are wondering how a married bloke can get away with that sort of spending I’m typing this on a wireless laptop from the dog house 😆
Be interested AB to see how they go, I only wonder how they can make them so cheap, if they are the same quality, but hey if they are a go I am on board, good on ya
