    Its hard coming back south after such a great trip but here we are back home.:(
    We went diving on the great barrier reef before heading to cooktown via the Bloomfield track.

    We then headed for Hopevale on the way to lakefield to a place called Elim, this was our home for the next four days.

    From here it was off to lakefield we didnt want to leave.

    Fishing was good here but stay well back from waters edge

    We did so much in four weeks and travelled 7,470 ks cant wait for the the next one.
    Also earnt some brownie points and hopefully a weekend leave pass or two!!

    Welcome back ol mate, was great to chat with you while you were sitting on the Port Douglas beach and I was sitting in the bucketing rain at Grafton :laugh:

    Look forward to catching up for a yarn on saturday hopefully at Bathurst

    Very nice pics Boulder, makes me want to go on holidays even more!!!

    Hey Boulder!!
    Welcome back, I will be in Cairns/Port Douglas in two weeks, have you got any tips for me??
    Kinda looking for things that aren’t the normal touristy things.ie the sky rail,the train, the reef (if it has a gift shop ,it isn’t what I am after). I will have a hire car so nothing is impossible.:woohoo:
    If you saw something cool, let me know.
