Today at around 10.30 am just after I fitted the new IRC VE33 rear tyre to my bike I decided to check the spokes, and I found one broken, Crash will remember the wash out I hit at about 120kph on the A track that had me yelling to him on the intercom to watch out for it
Anyways I needed a spoke and not knowning exactly which spokes they are now having a XR400 hub. I rang Chivo’s and explained I wanted to complete the bike before I go away tomorrow morning and needed a spoke made asap. He said come straight down, when I got there he stopped the job he was on, made a spoke and fitted it in the the tyre on using the nipple already there (still ok) and wanted to charge me only $5, not being as thrifty as Ollie I gave him $20 for his super service
If you have a spoke / wheel drama please contact

Hijacking a thread….no way that would not happen here , would it ???
Ollie, TB he is just pissed off that with all his contacts and searches he cant find the deals you can, so dont listen to him, and as a consolation prize every time they call you tight arse, just think well better to have a tight arse rather than a loose one I say, I mean just ask Moto about loose arses didnt he do some time reviewing toys for a certain bang film thingo a little while ago, and some justification is to be found in the fact that Moto and TB are such good Mates, I wonder if TB was involved in any product reviews at some stage……Nah just the Pom I think:laugh:
Now thats a hijack TB…..not just a one liner:laugh:
Now all I have to do is get others to join in and we will have a real good hijack happening, wheres Boony and Menace when you need them
July 11, 2009 at 11:03 pm #143246I do agree though with thanks where they are needed……Thanks to Chivo’s for helping out again….so it seems….Good karma to you Mate
