Great morning out on the border ranges,was great to finally meet Justin,Jack and Mick..
Guys ride well and look after them selves no worries.
Always helps the ride flow along nicely.
At this point have to say hope the pace was speedy enough for you guys,thought the chest was fine after last weeks little off…this is obviously not the case sure now that there is a rib broken in there somewhere.
Felt awkward on the bike all morning and really had trouble getting the body into the right position on the bike,in hindsight probably should have rested it this week as the missus suggested ..what would she know!!!!!
Still glad I went.. A awesome 60 klm ride and excellent to meet some new riders and top fellas as well..
We only got the one loop in for a few reasons Mick with split a radiator,myself with sooky la la ribs and Justin had an off yesterday riding to work on a slippery wooden bridge(hope to see the cam footage of that one Justin)don’t think he was any better off than me in the fitness area…
Then there was jack who looked like he had about another 200klms that he was keen to get out of the system!!!! (don’t worry mate always the poker run tomorrow enjoy that one…)
Well was a couple of other groups out there this weekend couple of guys I have met out there before,ran across them going the opposite direction though GMT always a worry but all good today no drama’s..
Threw in a run up to the lookout as it’s a blast and has to be done really enjoy those high speed jumps,should get some footage one day..
Had a look up a couple of tracks that haven’t been used for awhile Stubbs being one, few more logs and some clearing and no worries can work them back into the loop now.. thanks for the help with that fella’s…
So just have F.F.R,S.R AND C.S.R tracks left to re ride to open the southern loop back out to 80 plus klms,got the big tank now so that’s next on the list of rides to do in the coming weeks..
Couple of gumbie offs for my self today,was just too awkward with the ribs and not being able to move on the bike correctly..
Enjoyed the ride always good gotta love greasy tracks,as many logs to cross as one would want bog holes and great riding mates.Tracks are starting to cut some nice lines again after just a couple of weeks riding so won’t be long and it will be warp speed single once again,just praying the rain stays away…..

Still a bit wounded buddy from last week? yep i reckon there is a little fracture or similar in there somewhere….really ghosted me out today..
Got that new tank yet? yep arrived friday afternoon and i had already loaded the bike on the trailer so hope to get it fitted tomorrow along with the other 25 things i have to do…
As we need to get that larger loop sorted that we where talking about. we do i am really keen to get it orged.. have had some more ideas on a larger day ride as well but it will be a big loop the afternoon would be very cruisy riding but a lot of klms…

mate it is drying out really it is,that’s one of the reasons i love the place even in the drought dust was nonexistent on the southern loop….:laugh: :laugh:
