Gyday Guys, I have just fitted a MSC welded type spigot to my Brothers RMX. I was wondering if the machined vertical spigot is also to be welded to the bracket. It is a machined fit and has little movement side to side where the load will be applied but front to back the spigot can be dislodged. Has anyone had any experience with these welded type spigots?

    cheers

I always have, and never had a problem. The thing wouldn’t stay there long otherwise. Preferable to be done neatly with a TIG, not like the cocky-shit on the base.

Ease up Huzza :( That spigot is going nowhere, low Hydrogen rods were used and I did two runs. Still has to be cleaned up with a flap disk:laugh: I think I will put a couple of Tacks onto the spigot just to be sure. Havent got accessto a TIG at my Bro’s place in Maitlan:(

    cheers Ollie

That weld in shocking Ollie it looks shocking, better make sure that flapper wheel is attached to a 9 inch grinder and a front rower to lean on it
