What a day! I don’t know about anyone else but I had an absolute ball. DanD or TB can do a proper ride report but I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who turned up for the day. Thanks also to those who lent me a helping hand at some point in time or another.

For those of you who missed out, I feel really sorry for you (especially Bollocks).

I will post more later but I am too tired and am looking forward to my Radox bath (I know I’m a tart). I may even post a picture of my knee later. It looks like it has two kneecaps not one.

Bollocks – next time you are out with Boony and you are riding along make sure that you hit his kill switch for me. I owe him one.

A big thanks to TB and DanD for organising.

Thanks to Sutto’s for the prize pack. I wish I had of won it though.:(

    What can I say,,,,,,

Big day today, not sure of the exact roll call of riders, but it was HUGE

Many k`s covered, lots of dust in places some technical sections, some little moments by some riders
But all in all a GREAT DAY OUT

Many Thanx to TB & DAN for the planning & putting up with us all You guys are legends & put a lot of work into this day!!!

Also thanx to the Tamworth Crew that travelled down, always a pleasure to mix with you blokes

As for the usual Old Bulls, you all know who you are It was great to catch up again, sorry we had to bolt so quick this arvo without proper goodbyes, but we will all meet again very soon at Louee

I will let TB or Dan add the finer details of the trip report, as I was mostly pre occupied trying to stay upright & attempting to catch KylieD on the WR (Go Girl You are a Demon on that thing)

    Cheers All

    I must add,,,,
Any video footage of a certain Green OBT SUper Commuter that appears to resemble me on my face with the bike upside down facing back down the rock face,,,,

IS A MIS-INTERPRETATION of the true events:laugh:   :P

The second incident on a later steeper section that was not caught on film ,,, was actually much better (involving a full FLIP at the top of the section) with bike landing back on Handle bars & seat
Alls good though, bit of a tender arm from I think attempting to hold it (or push it away) I`m not really sure what the hell I was doing

Well I also had an off on the same hill as Eagle, which was extremely frustrating because I have ridden up that hill 4 times now and today was the time I had to come off. In front of 20 odd riders too.

TB video’d it so I am sure you will get to see it but we have taken photo’s of the damage. Knee’s are not supposed to look like this. The worst thing was that this happened within the first 1/2 hour of the ride.

This is a normal knee for me (I know it’s nobbly, I can’t help that)

This is not normal knee for me. It looks pretty funky.

    P8160002.jpg

And this is the two together.

    P8160003-1.jpg

    Oooh. Gross.

But it was still all worth it.

I forgot to mention in my first post that the absolute best part of the day was when I got to ride TB’s 650 back from Killingworth to home. I had so much fun on that bike.

    Thanks heaps TB!

I have started writing my ride report but I will have to finish it tomorrow night. I am feeling a little weary after todays ride.

But in summary – thankyou to all that came today, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

A huge thankyou to TB, for putting everything together and being a great mate as well.

As said I will finish my report tomorrow (also I will try and not make it a novel like some of my previous ones)
