greeted by great weather, all were ready to go without drama.

trails were dusty , was hoping for a bit of rain on friday night but got 2 spits.
but its not real dusty up the front:laugh:
after a taste of single trail we headed over to awaba MX track, big hill leading to it didnt give much trouble, just a couple of second attempts.
Mx track was hosting a VMX event – ahh.. the smell of 2 stroke in the morning…

wound our way across to the sugarloaf loops , a couple of second attempts required for my favorite short climb. but no real problems.tracks were nice and dry with some dusty sections.Dr.Don had his bash plate come off, so not wanting to risk the 300`s pipe we gave the loop with rocky dropoffrs a miss a headed for the gap fuel stop for lunch and repairs.
after lunch we were into the watagans, nice quick pace , Scotty came down the hill of his demise no problems this time. Last time , his last ride, the downhill resulted in a broken collarbone and shoulder ligament damage. Welcome back Scotty.
Then we took on Murphs special loop, Murph I`m still not really comforable going down the side of a hill with the cross grade and in dusty slippery conditions, anyway we done it.
Out to the bangalows, good quick pace again , no dramas. Our friend with the horse rides was about so to avoid problems we cut this bit short and headed back, not without a couple of bikes bogged in the swampy bit.

ride back to awaba was quick and without incident except for a quick running repair to oldblokes brake lever , just a couple of second attempts at some of the hills.
    home for a beer.

first ride in a while from this team without injury, dropouts or breakdowns.
good day had by all , photos coming, not many though as pace was consistent all day and all riders had similar ability.knocked out about 94km`s.

That last one looks familiar too, can’t think wher it is though. Either way I wish I had been there to have seen it for myself!
