Need a bigger tank for the Warlock (a bigger wizard eh Robo) and had settled on an Acerbis dual outlet 12.5 litre, it has everything going for it slim, doesn’t lift the seat up and comes with all fittings. Well last night I found one for $169.37 US new from the states, bargain to the max…so my questions is
“is Acerbis still as good quality as it was back when they made KTM plastics does anyone here know?”

I recently fitted one of their plastic kits from the states for a fellow, comes in a nice yellow Acerbis box (cheap $144 aus, front and rear mudguards, radiator shrouds, side plates) and I for one was impressed with the fitting, every thing lined up so much so that I recently recommended the same for a new project bike that I am involved with.

Longevity well there are to many variables, should be OK, they are a quality brand, that’s why KTM dont use them anymore :P

Acerbis made the plastics for the BWM G450X and BMW specified they were to be unbreakable.
They weren’t, so BMW made them refit all the bikes with unbreakable unbreakable plastics.
They dont break anymore so I’d say they are OK.
