September 9, 2009 at 9:58 am #151745Hope it all works out Ollie you are gamer then me, I have been caught to many times before and find it costs more in the long run I buy quality once now. I have had those cheaper generators let me down when they have been needed so I have now spent the extra and got a Honda powered one with two year warranty
Keep us in the loop

I can honestly say I have never had a problem with the ALDI stuff, even to say that a lot of it is better than name brand stuff.

September 9, 2009 at 10:05 am #151746just be careful with the welder, we bought one almost 12 months ago, my uncle said the cheaper welders are a printed circuit board.
if the rod sticks it can burn the PCB track.
not had any issues with ours yet. but it dose take some skill and practice to get the rod to strike a good stable arc.
it dose not like cheap rods either.
where as the BOC inverter is a breeze to use cheap rods well.

AnonymousI agree Aldi sucks
September 9, 2009 at 10:10 am #151759The chinese are great at copying things, we used to sell intake manifolds for small block chev’s that sold for around $250, they where are copy of the edelbrock ones. The only difference you could tell by looking was that the runners were’nt de-dagged as well as the original. Nothing a die grinder could’nt fix. But the as the old saying goes “buyer beware”
September 9, 2009 at 10:10 am #151761I can honestly say that I have NEVER had any problem with stuff from aldi.
