Has anyone seen or ridden a bike with one of these?
They are meant to be pretty good.

At a shade under [strike]$2000.00[/strike] $1200 ( typo  ) you would have to be a sponsored rider! :(

i have thought of one many a time beemer. i use a lotta rear brake on the 2 banger.

i wonder if they are easy to use, especially decending a steep hill with the clutch in? i think i would get a much better feel of the rear end and better balance on the pegs by not having to use my stiff old boots on the brake pedal.

but the money is proposterous :(

    Yeah not cheap Spidy.

If you read the info pages on their site there are diagrams and good explanations on how it is used.
It seems very easy with a period of getting used to it (rider dependant) and getting it adjusted but by changing the way you use the one or 2 fingers – angle and pull direction it seems like a very good thing indeed.

Taken a long long time to get to the masses and at that price it still will.

Something like this was originally developed for Michael Doohan after he smashed his leg at the dutch GP in ’92, I thought it was aripper idea then and still do. Don’t recluse make one as well?

You are right MR Blue, I immediantly thought of Mick Doohan as well.

It changed road racing almost as much as when Kenny Roberts introduced rear wheel steering, the use of a thumb brake is all through Moto GP, superbikes etc
