It is on again!!Here is your chance to pick up a set of Pivotpegz at the special OBT price of $185.00 delivered to your address. The RRP for these great pegs is normally around the $240 mark so this deal represents a great opportunity, thanks to Pivotpegz and Battyes bikes.
WE need ten members to put up their hand for this deal to happen, I have starters already so we need another 8.No payment required just yet, just indication of your interest at this stage.
Cheers
Mick

If you don’t like them, you can sell them for what you paid (if not more) easily – yes, that is the voice of experience!

]are they lighter than standards?
Tripper630…….XR630
Moose…………XR600[/quoteOctober 9, 2009 at 12:28 am #155704I doubt if they are lighter than standard pegs Boony. Having owned several sets on different bikes,I love them and will always use them in the future. The first thing I notice when I ride someone elses bike is the lack of pivot pegs.
October 9, 2009 at 1:22 am #155706Mick that’s cause Pivots’ Rock….

Run standard tubes instead of heavy duty that will save more weight then foot pegz and its a sprung mass way more inportant, or better still cut the knobs of your tyres that will save as much as a muffler

October 9, 2009 at 5:08 am #155722i just put on the pivot pegs that lc4skin won for me at louee. only ridden up and down the street but jeez they really are different, its like riding an auto, i back off and change down a gear automatically… i have been told it doesnt take long to get used to though and i may have to play around with lever heights and stuff too
October 9, 2009 at 5:13 am #155739Yeah Green450,set your levers etc and you will take to them in no time.
October 9, 2009 at 5:38 am #155741once you’ve used them and if you like them you will hate standard fixed pegs.
October 9, 2009 at 5:56 am #155746i honestly didnt like them when i first got them, but after a couple of rides grew used to them. i love them now though, i think they help you balance better on the bike when standing.
it IS wierd riding without them now
