a few weeks back Moto asked me to show a few pix of the warlock.

gave it this name after Robo67 named his YZ125wr the “wizard”, he could go on that were brave men feared on larger bikes, and the 250 is far more angry and unpredictable, so what is an angrier more potent Wizard??? a Warlock obviously

Well if you have some OBT printed in Blue, I’ll be first off the rank, plus Keg (DBW owner) was really cool to deal with when i bought some YZ (he owned a YZWR that broke his back)bits off him, if not email me the template and I’ll get some made ;)

BTW send me your addy for those bits Bud.

It’s an ’03 genuine plated YZ250WR as released by yamaha
MPE suspension mods both ends, gold valves, revalved shock .43 springs in front and titanium spring at rear.
    V3 force reeds
JD red needle on 4th clip
    175 main
    46 pilot
    50 powerjet
    pivot pegz (of course)
    Honda CRF M/Cyl (Thanks to T/B )
    Genuine honda brake pads
’07 pipe (better bottom end response)
    Shortened silencer (to help above)
    Timing retarded by 1.5 degrees
    Blueprinted ports
Stuffed crank (that’s crank stuffers not buggered ok)
    Fatbars in low flat bend,
    15mm risers
and some other stuff that escapes me now

just three more things i need
3rd,4th,5th gears out of WR450…… they slide straight in
    CRF front caliper
    Big acerbis tank.

    and one want
    Vortex programmable ignition.

because of it’s origins and the deliberate changes I have made,It’s a lot more vicious off the bottom than your average bike, to quote a TM300 rider I know “too much, too soon for me” ask Menace what it accelerates like… ;)

Just for TB, have a look at what Barry Ashenhurst (Dr Dans mate) OF Dirtbike trader said about the model before, and it may make sense why I’ve tried to calm it down a little bit…

Bruce I have read it before mate, written by a brain washed two stroke blind deer (that is a deer with no eyes or no idea  ) Its an old school 250 MX bike with some lights chucked at it I get it, I respect it and like the idea :) . Yours I think is a well setup and sorted one and I for one want a ride and a look because of those reasons and my respect for it and you.

I also will bring your caliper and we can sort out the costings for the master cylinder and caliper.

But again its the XR for you

Damn you saw through barry’s ramblings, the rest sounds like a plan to me. Need the caliper to stop that cosmic experience stuff from hurting me and a tree again…
