Great day had by all, my first outing on the New Love of my Life, what a bike I couldn’t seriously think of anything else I would do to it.. Well…..
After an invite to take the kids riding couldn’t resist, a good opportunity to take My Wife and Kids for a run on their new bikes, my wife moving
up to a ttr125 and my daughter off the pw80 onto the ttr110. Also Boofs wife moving from a quad to a two wheeler. With Boof and I itching to get out on the new Katos (Boof also purchased a KTM450 a couple of days before me, Thanks SUTTO;s) we had a quick blat before taking to the mission of getting the girls up and going, using the clutch for the first time was suprised how quickly they picked it up, wasn’t long before they were off on their own having a great time. The younger two were keen to have a go on the quad, needless to say we couldn’t get them off it, they had a great time and basically just swapped riders every so often, the quad had a good workout as it was going practically all day.
I love everything about the Kato 400, it blows me away how easy it is to ride and how it handles, that’s even without setting any sag or anything.
A great day had by all.
Cheers
Chris.

October 18, 2009 at 10:14 pm #157068Congrats Chris, it’s a good thing the whole family enjoys “your” hobby
, I already guessed you where the “mystery buyer” on Micks “buy one pivot peg, get one free” thread.
Nice looking bike the 400s, haven’t heard a bad word about them.
Nice choioe on the rest of the families bikes too, quick Q? is that a zook quad or a Hyosung? (same diff anyway, made in the same factory)

October 18, 2009 at 10:26 pm #157069Nice bike Chris. I rode the 400 at Louee and thought it would be a good all round bike. Good to see the family out riding too.
See you up this way this in a couple of weeks. :woohoo:

Mr Blue, the quad was a suzuki 90cc with the throttle stop wound in. The kids loved it.

Cheers

Anonymousi agree chris.
people should not be limited to brands
generally i buy bikes that are
fun
safe (at what i’m using for (handling))
easy to own
reliable
good support from the shop
fit the purpose (rego, versatile etc)
affordable
strong
light
makes you smile every time you see/ride
(i’m sure there is more)whoever sells that bike at the time, gets a sale.
everyone is different and there needs can change.
i like your choice of bikes. the fun factor (which kind of covers everything) is well covered.
