Sad to hear on the news this morning that Australia’s only tyre manufacturer Bridgestone has gone bust and now 600 more people will be on the dole que.

And the pollies & economists reckon we are over the worst of it & Australia rolled through relatively unscathed!!! BULLSHIT

That`s why nearly all of the Pleasurecraft & superyacht building companies here have gone or a going out of business as well!!!
Riviera, Mustang, Warrens, Azzura Nowra. all suffered big time and have GONE.

Many others are on the block too and will most probably close within weeks or months from now

What is Australia coming too ????

By the way this article reads,it aint closing till the end of APRIL 2010 (Adelaide factory) NZ factory to close within months!!!

Regardless, this is not good,,,, and I suppose it will only force the $$$ of Bridgestone rubbers up as now we will be bringing them all in from O.S

Very sad to hear, and they are going to keep putting interest rates up and up until were completely stuffed.
