    After seeing the carnage TB did to the tree after hitting it with his Whipps bash plate and the fact that no damage was done to the bike or bashplate,I was convinced they must be a good thing.
    So I contacted Daniel at Whipps enquiring about one for my 650, they actually had one in stock and he personally delivered it to my office,which I reckon was great service.
    I fitted it to the XR this morning,I had to file out the holes a little to make it fit,no big drama and it is now on and looks trick.

    A bit of bling as well as a bit of cheap long term insurance.

    Nah not just TB,Tripper is the king of smashing through trees.He has a 7mm bash plate,that would look at home on a Caterpillar D8.

    ya should give it a polish mick and coat it in clear laquer, so it will shine again every time you wash it….

    Hahhah, I spose if I wasn’t so lazy I should have polished it up before the photo. Unfortunately I am not that sorta guy that polisheds bash plates. :blush:

    It wont look like bling after a few rides.
    I dont think clear coat would last too long either, not in the bush anyway.
